NTIS (National Technical Information Service)

NTIS (National Technical Information Service) provides access to bibliographic descriptions of more than 2,165,400 unrestricted technical reports from U.S. and non-U.S. government (Canada, Japan, the former Soviet Union, and Western and Eastern European countries) sponsored research. Topics covered include biological, social and physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, and business information. NTIS indexes technical reports, selected reprints and federally sponsored translations dated from 1964 to the present, updated biweekly.

NOTE: The Parks Library has an extensive collection of NTIS documents on microfiche in the Media Center (Room 002, Parks Library). The Library will purchase NTIS documents not owned by the ISU library when asked to do so by a member of the ISU community.
