INFOMINE is designed and maintained by librarians whose goal is to provide "a virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level." Doing a search at the top-level or under any of the disciplinary areas will bring up a number of relevant web sites that have been evaluated and annotated by librarians. Clicking on the title of the resource will bring you to that web page, and clicking on the "More Info" link will open a separate window that includes a full annotation, names of the web site creators, Library of Congress Subject Headings, relevant keywords (hyperlinked and searchable), and the audience level. Finally, the collection is enhanced by "Robot-selected Resources" (a function which brings up web sites that match the search criteria but have not been evaluated) This function can be turned on and off.
