Applied Science and Technology Abstracts

Applied Science and Technology Abstracts (ASTI, formerly Applied Science and Technology Index), produced by the H. W. Wilson Company, provides access to more than 625,000 citations and abstracts in applied science areas such as engineering, materials science and biotechnology. ASTI indexes articles, reports of meetings, review articles, and book reviews dated 1983 to the present.

  • Connect to ASTI using the WebSPIRS interface.

    • Assistance in using this index is made available within the database by clicking the 'HELP' icon in the upper right hand corner of the database window.

    In addition, a separate online, interactive tutorial for searching indexes and abstracts using the WebSPIRS 4.0 search and retrieval software is available.
