This multimedia encyclopedia provides hypertext-linked articles and information on specific American Indian tribes and their histories, folklore, religions. Also includes biographies, over 300 full text documents such as treaties and relevant legislation, a glossary, timetables, and a directory of relevant United States and Canadian museums and societies. Multimedia contents include full color videos, sound files, illustrations, detailed maps, and numerous historical photographs. A powerful search engine provides keyword and Boolean searching of all text and multimedia files.
