Library 160 Tutorials: Access Inside the Parks Library
If you are connecting to the Library 160 Tutorials from a library computer
inside the Parks Library, you will need to use the versions of the Tutorials
listed below. (Note that if you bring your own laptop into the Library,
you will need to use the
web-based
Tutorials instead.)
These Tutorials can be accessed from most PCs in the Parks Library, including
all the PCs in the User Education Lab (room 32) and the Library 160 Lab (room
84). To access any of the Tutorials, follow these simple steps:
First, click on the desired Tutorial link, below. When you click on a Tutorial
link, a gray "File Download" dialog box will appear that
will prompt whether you want to "Open" or "Save it to a disk," or "Save
to your computer."
Select "Open," and, if prompted, click on "OK."
Second, after the above step, the Tutorial should automatically begin. If
not, a rectangular Authorware for Windows/Macromedia logo may pop
up with wording that says: "This version of Authorware may not be used for
commercial distribution." Simply click anywhere on that logo and it
will disappear and the
Tutorial will begin.
The content of the Library 160 Tutorials is the same, regardless of whether
you use the Inside the Library versions or the web-based versions. If you
have any questions about accessing or using the Tutorials, please contact
Library160 Office Staff, 150 Parks Library.
