Parks Library has 5 floors and 7 tiers.  Books and other materials are shelved at all these locations. The tiers were constructed first. The tiers shown in the cutout were part of the original Library building completed in 1925. The floors were built in later additions to the Library building.

In the 1980's a new five story addition was added to the front of the original Library. Most people are familiar with the floors when they first start using the library.
