Note: If you use this off-campus access procedure below, your ISUCard number or ISU Library Visitor Card patron id number will be passed through the Internet in plaintext. It is possible that it could be intercepted by some person other than ISU personnel.

Some of the Bibliographic, Statistical and Full Text materials available through the web interface are copyrighted and available for use only by members of the Iowa State University community.

We have implemented a method allowing off-campus access to these materials. Users at on-campus locations will continue to access the materials directly by virtue of their network address. Off-campus users will be prompted for a number.

Enter the 11 digits from your ISUCard starting after the 600957 sequence. Or enter the patron identification number from your ISU Library Visitor Card. Enter either of these numbers in the Number field below.
