The Government of the Student Body (Carrie Chapman) Catt Hall Review Committee was appointed by Iowa State University President, Dr. Martin C. Jischke in 1998 to study the controversy associated with renaming of Agriculture Hall to Carrie Chapman Catt Hall. 

 Collection Description

 
The collection (1998) documents the work of the Government of the Student Body (Carrie Chapman) Catt Hall Review Committee.  The records include:  meeting minutes, historical research submitted by Jane Cox -  Associate Professor of Music, historical research submitted by Lynn Wellnitz - Secretary in the Admissions and Records Department, a copy of a September 29^th Movement presentation, and information from the World Wide Web submitted by Tim Lane.
