Biographical note

Marian A. Smith was a graduate of Ames High School in Ames, Iowa. She attended Iowa State College (University) starting in 1923 and received her B.S. (1927) in home economics. She was a member of the Freshman Commission as a student.

Collection description

This collection (1923-1930, n.d.) contains a college scrapbook created by Marian A Smith. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings and photographs of campus buildings and football games, programs for campus events and activities, and photographs of friends and classmates. The scrapbook also contains a collection of souvenirs and miniature photographs from Pike’s Peak, Colorado.
