Biographical note
Wilford Melvin Taylor was born on June 6, 1890 and died ca. 1973. His hometown was Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Hollywood High School in Los Angeles California. Taylor attended Iowa State College from Fall Semester 1910 to Fall Semester 1911, when he left school due to financial difficulties after the death of his father. Taylor was a member of Ozark fraternity. He played on the 1910 reserve football team and on the 1911 varsity football team in the halfback position. |
