Biographical note

Donna Schulze Lutz received her B.S. (1979) in Biology and Environmental Studies and her M.S. in Science Water Resources from Iowa State University.  She has held various positions at Iowa State’s Engineering Research Institute, including that of Laboratory Technician II (1980-1982); Laboratory Technician III (1983-1987); Research Associate II (1987-1991); Research Associate III (1991-1993); and an Assistant Scientist (1993-    ), who serves as the co-principal investigator, project manager, and field foreman for the Army Corps of Engineers sponsored research in central Iowa.

Collection description

 
This collection contains a vita, correspondence, reviewers’ comments, and publication drafts, galley proofs, and final copy.  These papers document the efforts of a woman scientist to publish an article titled, Gas Supersaturation and Gas Bubble Trauma in Fish Downstream from a Midwestern Reservoir (American Fisheries Society 124: 423-436).  Included are the author’s drafts, guidelines for publication, comments by reviewers about the manuscript, revised copies of the article, galley proofs, and the final published version.
